Personality
Caring: Despite their distant personality, they do deeply care about others' well-being, thinking logically rather than emotionally.
Soft-Spoken: Most interactions are viewed as neutral; showing great respect and good manners, sharing a voice that is low enough to be seen as a polite tone in most social interactions. However, that does not often help them if they are trying to convey a point in their favor, a quiet voice doesn’t carry as high as the heavens by retrospect.
Narcissist: God complex enough said. When you’ve been raised enough to believe your species is to ascend to godhood upon evolving, you become rather crazed with the idea that you too will become as grand as Arceus themselves.
Aloof: Due to their Flame Body, they are very distant when it comes to social gatherings, especially those that involve touch; due to them burning other’s in the past by accident.
History
Born in a long lineage of Larvesta, Chihiro, born to a proudful Volcarona father and a scornful Fearow mother. At least that was what was written on the scroll to announce her hatching into this world. Her father loved his Fearow wife, yet the couple had fertility issues trying to conceive. In secrecy, her father and mother met with another Volcarona lady that would conceive Chihiro, unbeknownst to Chihiro. With secret in tow, the couple tended to their child, only to make notice of the missing finger on the child’s hand.
Was it genetics or an omen to the loving couple that what they had done was a sin in the eyes of the Volcanrona Lineage?
A child born with mix matched eyes. Fearful of their act, Chihiro's parents set their goal to keep this secret from Chihiro, ushering them into a livelihood of becoming a priest to keep their daughter from ever finding out.
They, both Chihiro's parents and their blood related mother, made an arrangement to never speak on the matter. Their only goal was to keep Chihiro as a priest, to serve under the undying Sun that fell from the sky.
A deal crafted, both father and adopted mother kept the unknowing Chihiro to follow the teachings of the Sun, while their biological mother to be a retainer to care for the growing larvesta child.
A fiery spirit in the form of a child, as they aged, their mind swayed by the promises that they too will don the wings of fires, flames that burned the heavens. An heir(ess) to a species believed to have fallen from their rightful place in the holiest of skies. But to Chihiro? It was merely duty, a chance at a flight to a sky unknown to them, while they themselves were held to an ancient belief saturated in lost scrolls and whispers.

I literally just threw a bunch of characters from the fandoms I like currently into a blender. Blindfolded. The idea of a sun cult obsessed little worm that follows Volcarona/Larvesta data entry, plus real world cults and the name of my favorite manga came to be inspo.. The Larvesta line is also my favorite bug type. Chihiro-- The name I got from a character in the famous murder game, Danganronpa. (Sorry I really love cute little guys and cute names! Perfect for a cute little worm!) Kurosagi is from my favorite horror manga The Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service! The name meaning Black Heron. Black Heron's are a symbol of death, so figured it'd be a bit ironic for a little bug that wants to burn like the Sun...And the Sun, a star, if you know some space lore...tend to die. The idea of a little worm trying to climb the ranks, to prove their worth in a world full of sun obsessed bug family line of priests just tickled my funny bone. A sun that dies. Because sometimes, even faith fails, falters and wanes. And I liked that concept for a character. Was it my original plan? No! The character Aizen from Bleach plays a role in the making of Chihiro. I really loved his character arc, and the personality switch up he descends into in the series, is chefs kiss. And throw it all together and you get: CHIHIRO KUROSAGI. Give me a nudge if you pick up on anything during RP's. I might give you a treat :3.
