Villages

Shared berry farms

Gale Spring, Noir Vale, Radiant Harbor, Scorched Mountain each keep one community berry field for OCs who call that village home. Berries here match the item catalog — battle effects and sell prices live on that page.

Tending in Discord

  1. Go to that village's Roleplay channel — the same village as your OC's home.
  2. Run /berryfarm tend, choose the village, then the character who is walking the rows.
  3. You get one visit per village per day. The clock resets at midnight Eastern (New York time). If you have OCs in more than one home village, each field has its own daily visit.

Use /berryfarm tend, not /job work. Any job on your roster can still tend. One visit might water bushes, plant sprouts, pick ripe fruit into your bag on this site, or clear weeds and pests — the field chooses a handful of chores at random. The next section explains what can happen. Your OC also earns a little reputation for helping.

What happens on a visit

Each bullet is something that can happen during one tend. They build on each other — read top to bottom.

  • A tend is a short walk through the field. Your OC does a few small chores — the field picks which ones each time.
  • Watering gives a growing bush a drink and helps it ripen a little sooner.
  • Planting tucks a new sprout into empty soil. The berry type is random — every village draws from the same list.
  • Picking ripe berries sends them to your bag on this site and leaves that patch bare until someone plants again. How many you get depends on the berry, how active the farm has been, how often you have visited lately, whether you have been tending several days in a row, and how well cared for that bush was.
  • Sometimes a visit is only tidying — pulling weeds from bare soil or brushing pests off a bush. Your OC might even water twice in one trip.
  • Between visits, wild sprouts can appear, weeds spread, pests move in, and neglected bushes ripen slower or die back.
  • Tend the same village several Eastern days in a row and visits usually involve more planting and picking, with a few extra berries each time you pick ripe fruit.
  • Your OC's job can nudge the visit toward the work that fits them — Discord calls that out when it applies.
  • Each finished tend gives that OC a little reputation.

While you are away, the field does not sit still. Wild sprouts can appear, weeds spread, pests creep in, and bushes left alone ripen slower or die back. When neighbors tend often, picking usually brings more ripe berries. When the farm is quiet, fruit still ripens — but you may get fewer berries per pick until people return. Tend the same village several Eastern days in a row for bonus berries when you pick ripe fruit and visits that usually include more planting and picking. Discord shows your streak when it applies.

Skip a day and you miss that village's daily visit. Weeds fill empty slots, pests settle on bushes, and neglected plants struggle. The field itself remains — the next visit can pull weeds, clear pests, plant, and pick what ripened.

Job bonuses (28 jobs)

Any roster job can tend. If your OC's job is listed here, they get a small edge on the field — the colored tags show what kind of work gets the boost; the sentence is the same story Discord tells after a visit.

Weather

Daily weather & the field

At midnight Eastern, your village Roleplay channel posts one card — today's forecast and a look at the berry field (yesterday's tend, what's growing, overnight changes, and what the weather did to the rows).

The card always includes whether someone tended yesterday or nobody did, a field ledger (ripe, growing, weedy counts), overnight changes while the village was away, and weather & the field — what today's forecast did to the rows when the card posted.

  • Sky — rain & storms: Light rain and sun showers reach a few bushes; steady rain waters about half the green rows; heavy rain and thunderstorms soak all growing bushes. Thunderstorms also stir wind that shakes more pests loose.
  • Sky — sun & cloud: Sunny, partly cloudy, and rainbow days help ripening along (rainbow days add a light drizzle on a couple of bushes). Overcast cloudy skies slightly dull growth when nothing else is acting on the field.
  • Sky — winter mix: Snow, sleet, hail, blizzard, and thundersnow chill the rows. Cinder storms stress bushes like a sandstorm — pests, weeds, and stalled growth.
  • Wind: Fresh wind (about 31 km/h and up) starts clearing pests and can blow weeds off bare plots. Strong wind (41+), gale (63+), storm (88+), and hurricane (118+) each clear more pests and more weeds.
  • Temperature: Hot days without rain draw pests toward thirsty bushes that have not been watered lately. Frigid and cold temperatures slow green berries even when the sky looks mild.
  • Effects apply once when the daily card posts and update the live field map on this site. They stack when the forecast combines rain, wind, sun, and field conditions.

Each Field conditions name on the regional weather guide also lists an On the berry field line for that weather.

Berries

What each berry needs

Every berry card lists the same six numbers in the same order. Open the list to compare them. For battle text and shop prices, see the item catalog.

The field map shows three tree looks as a bush ages. The Grow time row is the quickest way to see how fast a berry ripens.

How to read the numbers

Grow time
How long one growth stage takes for that berry. A higher number means a slower bush — it needs more patience before the fruit is ready.
Thirst
How much watering that berry wants while it grows. Higher means thirstier soil; lower means it forgives a missed drink.
Weeds
How fast weeds claim bare soil when nobody is tending. Higher means the field grows weeds sooner. More village visitors slow it down — the field still shifts a little between visits.
Pests
How quickly bugs move in when a bush is left alone. Brushing pests off on a visit knocks them back. A pest-heavy bush ripens slower and gives a smaller pick.
Pick size
Roughly how many berries you get when you pick a ripe bush. A well-visited farm tends to fill the basket a little fuller.
Days to ripe
About how many days from planting to ripe fruit if someone tends the field about once a day.
