Battles run in the Pokimono Discord (same account as your site login). You can also fight on the site under Battles.

The bot uses your OC's level, Nature, held item, and Moves 1–6 from Profile. After you change any of those, Save Profile before you fight. Pick moves from the site pickers — only official English names become buttons.

• Wild fight — you vs a wild Pokémon. Win by KO to earn OC XP. Command: /battle wild.
• Member duel — you vs another player. Same battle rules; wins do not give OC XP. Command: /battle challenge.
• Damage lowers your OC's roster HP until you heal (Items Shop, the site, or /item use).

Same moves, damage, berries, and Teleport as wild fights. Use /battle challenge instead of /battle wild. You stay in until someone wins, Teleports, or the duel times out. Wins are for play — OC XP comes from wild KO wins and other activities.

An OC can have one major status at a time. Type immunities work as usual (for example, Fire cannot be burned).

• Burn

  After each full round, you lose a small fraction of your max HP. Your physical attacks hit with half Attack until the burn ends.

• Freeze

  You might be unable to move. Each time you try, you might thaw out and clear freeze instead.

• Paralysis

  Your Speed is halved when the bot compares turn order. Each move has a chance to fail completely until paralysis ends.

• Poison

  After each full round, you lose a larger fraction of your max HP until the poison ends.

• Sleep

  You skip your move while asleep, except Snore (it only works while you are asleep). Each full round lowers your sleep counter, including a turn where you used Snore; at zero you wake up.

• Toxic

  After each full round, you take increasing damage based on your max HP until badly poisoned ends.

Battles do not use species kilograms or a weight field on your sheet. Every fighter starts at a neutral weight for moves like Grass Knot, Low Kick, Heat Crash, and Heavy Slam. Those moves use a mid power of 80, and can rise to 160 or drop to 40 when abilities, items, or field effects make someone heavier or lighter.

• Heavier — Heavy Metal, holding an Iron Ball, or Gravity on the field. Your Heat Crash and Heavy Slam hit harder; Grass Knot and Low Kick hit you harder; Sky Drop fails against you.
• Lighter — Light Metal, holding a Float Stone, or after using Autotomize (rest of that fight). Heat Crash and Heavy Slam hit you harder; Grass Knot and Low Kick hit you for less.
• Heavier and lighter effects can cancel when both apply to the same fighter (for example Heavy Metal with a Float Stone).

Heavy Metal and Light Metal follow the heavier and lighter rules above in wild fights and member duels.

Pokimono fights are always one OC vs one foe. Some main-series moves and abilities need partners, a bench, switch-ins, or other setups we do not use — so they are left out of Discord battles (and some moves are left out of site pickers too). The lists below are the current guide.
