Sun Empire

Events

How the living plot moves: chapter-scale lore pushes, lighter weeks between them, and celebrations that come back every year. For the empire-wide timeline, see History — Current run.

Major chapters

Major lore events

On a rhythm of about every six months, Pokimono runs a major lore event — a focused stretch where moderators and members together push the Sun Empire's story forward. Each chapter changes what villages worry about, what shrines whisper, and what your characters can react to in play.

When a chapter is announced, read the opening post for dates, tone, and how to jump in. Details live in Discord and news posts; this page is the map of how those pieces fit together.

Between chapters

Smaller story weeks

Between the big arcs, moderators may run lighter events — shorter prompts, local mysteries, festival weeks, or village-specific threads that keep the world in motion while the next chapter gathers.

These still count as living lore: they are fair game for writing, art, and continuity in your apps.

Every year

Recurring celebrations

Some traditions return on the calendar so everyone can plan around them: holidays, seasonal art pushes, gift exchanges, and other traditions that gather the group in a familiar shape each year, with new prompts when moderators announce them.

Moderators set the exact window and prompts each year. For examples of the kinds of rhythms we return to, see Recurring community traditions on Group archive — the current schedule is always whatever is pinned in Discord and on News.
