Basics

One card per region, each day

Every day there is one weather card for each village: Gale Spring, Noir Vale, Scorched Mountain, and Radiant Harbor. Each card has four lines: temperature, wind, sky (what it looks like outside), and Field conditions (the line battles use for weather). Everyone in that village shares the same card—use it for outfits, travel, and roleplay so you stay in sync.

Field conditions is sometimes a bonus roll for the day. If there is no bonus roll, it follows the sky line. Village work uses the sky and Field conditions for where your character lives. Battles in Discord use Field conditions for the village where that fight happens. For where to battle, see Battling → Wild Pokémon battles.

See all four villages on the home page. Your village channel on Discord posts the same forecast for your region — daily weather & berry field at midnight Eastern, with field ledger, overnight changes, and what the weather did to the rows.

The card

What the lines mean

  • Temperature — Cool, warm, heat wave, and so on. Handy for outfits and small talk.
  • Wind — Still air up to strong gusts.
  • Sky — What you see overhead: sun, fog, rain, snow, storms, and the rest. Village work also looks at this line.
  • Field conditions — The weather name battles use. It can also change village work rewards a little.

Sky vs field

Why there are two weather lines

Sky is what the village looks like that day. Field conditions is the name the bot uses in fights—either a bonus roll for the day, or the field that matches the sky when there is no bonus roll.

Each tile below shows a field name with a small looping banner (same art as the live cards). If you prefer less motion, you will see a still image instead.

Clear skies

Stories
Bright and calm—easy to move around and set everyday scenes.
In a fight
Fire and Water moves work as usual.
On a work day
You may earn a little more reputation from work.
On the berry field
The sun helps green bushes grow closer to being ripe.

Harsh sunlight

Stories
Relentless sun and heat—drying air and tired travelers.
In a fight
Fire moves hit harder. Water moves are weaker.
On a work day
You may earn a little more XP and reputation. Fighting-style work may cost more HP.
On the berry field
Strong sun helps bushes grow closer to ripe. On a hot, dry day, thirsty rows may draw more pests until rain or a tend.

Extremely harsh sunlight

Stories
Rare furnace heat—glare, shimmer, and harsh open ground.
In a fight
Like harsh sun, but the Fire boost and Water drop are bigger.
On a work day
You may earn a bit more XP and reputation. Fighting-style work may cost more HP.
On the berry field
Blazing sun helps bushes grow closer to ripe. Scorching heat can slow green bushes and stress rows that have not been watered lately.

Rain

Stories
Steady rain—mud, soaked gear, closed doors.
In a fight
Water moves hit harder. Fire moves are weaker.
On a work day
Gathering may give plumper berries and slightly better rare finds. Fighting-style work may cost more HP.
On the berry field
Rain waters growing bushes, helps them ripen sooner, and can shake pests loose on soaked rows.

Heavy rain

Stories
Pouring rain or storms—flooded paths and low visibility.
In a fight
Water moves hit harder. Fire moves are weaker.
On a work day
Gathering pays off a little more. Fighting-style work may cost more HP.
On the berry field
A downpour soaks growing bushes and runoff can wash weeds off empty plots.

Sandstorm

Stories
Grit in the air—hard to see and harsh on skin and stone.
In a fight
Rock moves hit harder; Ground moves hit a little harder. Most fighters take a little damage each turn. Rock, Ground, and Steel types are fine.
On a work day
You may earn a little more money and find rarer items. Fighting-style work may cost more HP.
On the berry field
Grit stresses the field — pests rise, weeds creep onto empty soil, and green bushes stall.

Hail

Stories
Icy pellets and sharp cold—roofs and fields take a beating.
In a fight
Most fighters take a little damage each turn. Ice types are fine.
On a work day
You may earn a little more money and reputation. Fighting-style work may cost more HP.
On the berry field
Ice pellets batter green berries and slow ripening; hail can also knock pests off battered bushes.

Snow

Stories
Deep cold and drifting snow—slow travel and heavy coats.
In a fight
Ice Pokémon take less damage from direct attacks.
On a work day
You may earn a little more money and reputation. Fighting-style work may cost more HP.
On the berry field
Cold air slows green bushes. Heavy snow and blizzards stall growth longer.

Fog

Stories
Thick mist and short sightlines—easy to lose a landmark or a friend across the street.
In a fight
Fairy, Psychic, and Ghost moves hit a little harder.
On a work day
You may find more items and slightly better rare finds. Fighting-style work may cost a little more HP.
On the berry field
Fog helps pests spread to more bushes.

Strong winds

Stories
Gusts you lean into—rattling roofs and restless banners.
In a fight
Flying moves hit a little harder.
On a work day
You may earn a little more XP. Fighting-style work may cost more HP.
On the berry field
Gusts shake pests off bushes and can clear weeds from empty plots. Gale-force wind does more of both.

Shadowy aura

Stories
Flat, heavy light and deep shadows—odd and a little unsettling.
In a fight
Dark and Ghost moves hit a little harder.
On a work day
You may earn a little more XP and find rarer items. Fighting-style work may cost more HP.
On the berry field
Shadowy weather lets pests spread on more bushes.

Weather for roleplay, work, and battles

Treat the official card as the weather everyone in that village shares that day.

Village work uses today's card for where your character lives. Sky and Field conditions can change money, reputation, XP, items, and how much HP you lose on fighting-style work days. Battles use Field conditions for the village where that fight started. For where to battle, see Battling → Wild Pokémon battles.

Berry farms

Weather & the community berry field

At midnight Eastern, your village Roleplay channel posts one card — today's forecast and a look at the berry field (yesterday's tend, what's growing, overnight changes, and what the weather did to the rows).

The Field conditions grid above includes an On the berry field line for each weather name. Rain waters rows; wind knocks pests loose; sand and cinder stress the field; sun and cold nudge ripening in different directions.

  • Sky — rain & storms: Light rain and sun showers reach a few bushes; steady rain waters about half the green rows; heavy rain and thunderstorms soak all growing bushes. Thunderstorms also stir wind that shakes more pests loose.
  • Sky — sun & cloud: Sunny, partly cloudy, and rainbow days help ripening along (rainbow days add a light drizzle on a couple of bushes). Overcast cloudy skies slightly dull growth when nothing else is acting on the field.
  • Sky — winter mix: Snow, sleet, hail, blizzard, and thundersnow chill the rows. Cinder storms stress bushes like a sandstorm — pests, weeds, and stalled growth.
  • Wind: Fresh wind (about 31 km/h and up) starts clearing pests and can blow weeds off bare plots. Strong wind (41+), gale (63+), storm (88+), and hurricane (118+) each clear more pests and more weeds.
  • Temperature: Hot days without rain draw pests toward thirsty bushes that have not been watered lately. Frigid and cold temperatures slow green berries even when the sky looks mild.
  • Effects apply once when the daily card posts and update the live field map on this site. They stack when the forecast combines rain, wind, sun, and field conditions.

For tending rules and live field maps, see Berry farming.
