🌾 Pokimono Application Process
Pokimono applications will open on September 30th and remain open for at least one week. If we have not received enough applications to fill our 60-member cap by the end of that week, applications will remain open until the group is full.
How Reviews Work
Applications will be reviewed in the order they are submitted, beginning approximately 24 hours after applications open.
Submitting early means your application will be reviewed sooner, but acceptance is not first come, first served. An earlier submission does not guarantee a place in the group.
Each application must be reviewed independently by all three moderators before a decision can be made. Because of this, decisions may take several days or possibly longer than one week. Please be patient with us while we work through everything!
What We Consider
Applications will be evaluated based on:
• How well the character and design fit Pokimono’s setting, lore, gijinka rules, and clothing requirements
• The effort, clarity, and completeness of the application
• The applicant’s observable conduct within the community, including respect, maturity, communication, and rule-following
• The needs and overall balance of the roster
Artistic skill and application length are not graded. A simple, clearly presented character can be just as successful as a more detailed one.
Roster balance will be an important part of final decisions. We may consider village populations, jobs, species, character archetypes, and how many similar applications we receive. For example, if we receive a very large number of applications for the same village and job, we may prioritize equally strong applications that bring more variety to the group.
Possible Outcomes
Your application may be:
• Approved
• Held for further consideration
• Returned for edits
• Declined
If edits are requested, we will provide all required corrections at once whenever possible. After you resubmit, your application will return to the back of the review queue and be reviewed again by all three moderators.
Because space is limited, we cannot guarantee that a revised application will be reviewed again before the group fills. Please carefully check your application before submitting it.
Meeting all basic requirements does not guarantee acceptance. Final decisions will consider the complete application, community fit, available space, and the long-term health of Pokimono. The moderation team may decline applications that we determine are not a good fit for the group, including circumstances not specifically covered by these guidelines.
Our goal is to make the process as consistent and transparent as possible while building a balanced, welcoming, and sustainable community.
